St. John’s takes prayer seriously. Prayer is fully half of what we do every single Lord’s Day.
Prayer for the nations of the world, for the lost, for our own country, and for those in need abound. Thanksgivings are named for God’s grace and kindness, as well as for specific answers to prayer, or ways in which we recognize His love for us. Part of that prayer is for particular individuals; especially those in our congregation, or who are known to us. We often meet our people at the communion rail after the worship service to pray with them.
If you wish us to pray for you by name in the worship service or wish to be placed on a church wide prayer list (or both), let us know by emailing prayer@toknowchrist.net. Private or confidential matters may be addressed with the clergy personally.
