Missions
Mission and outreach are integral parts of St. John’s. Through youth and adult missions activities, we strive to "Know Christ and Make him Known" and live out the Great Commission; "Go and make disciples of all nations!" (Matthew 28:19).
The parish is committed to allocating 20% of its income to Missions. 10% goes to The Anglican Mission in the America, and the other 10% goes to the various missions supported by the congregation. You can learn more about them here or on their own websites. We encourage you to actively pursue mission opportunities.
Our Missions Committee assists the clergy and vestry in evaluating and allocating funding for missions in three primary areas; individual or team outreach, partnerships, and service organizations. The committee also promotes missions through funding, prayer, awareness, encouragement and action in order to create a missions minded parish.
