two sundays ago, i drove to a gas station on york and Second street pike in Hatboro. I stopped off at the lukoil station. My mind focused on getting gas as well as enduring the cold and rain. A man at the pump across from me asked if I could help him fill up his tank. He told me he only had a dollar and twenty five cents. He needed the money to get him someplace. I paid for my gas and then went inside to pay the man’s bill. It cost me four dollars and eighty cents. He filled up his van.
I don’t think I ever saw him again but it reminded me of the Good Samaritan who came along and saved a beat up and robbed traveler. I don’t know what you folks think. did i do the right thing?
Also: i have a new E-mail address: it’s jimmyjane1@verizon.net. Please remember it for future reference.

I thought this one would go over pretty well for those who undergo a lot of crises in their lives and one for those who loved Michael Jackson
For Bible Verses
For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, But you have recieved the spirit of son ship. When we cry ,’ABBA Father!” it is the spirit himself bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God And if children, then heirs, heirs of God and felloe heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we also may also be glorified with him.
Romans 8:15-17
He whom commits sin is of the devil: For the devil has sinned from the beginning. The reason the son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil

II Corinthians 5:17
And this is the confidence which we have in him, That if we ask anything according to his will He hears us and if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have obtained the requests made of him.

I do not understand my own actions. For I do not what I want, but I do the very thing I hate.

As If Upon Eagle’s Wings
@2002,2008 Linda Barrett
In times of sudden tragedy,
When human hearts break
And Satan laughs in glee
Your heart starts to ache
From the weight of despair
All you see is your suffering
The question that you ask:
“Does God really care?”
It’s hard to wear a smiling mask
In front of other men
It seems nothing and everything
Will ever be the same again
God guides you through
The ordeal that you face
He strengthens you
With His powerful grace
His Spirit helps you stand
Your enemies He will defeat
He protects you under His hand
From the sun’s scorching heat
He leads you at night
Through deepest darkness
With His pillar of firelight
His power reveals
Godly beauty under distress
His love enables
Your feeble eyes
To face what the day’s evil brings
And you will rise
As if upon eagle’s wings
.
To The King of Pop
@2009 Linda Barrett
Dear Mr. Jackson
You were the Pop world’s King
You gave us dancing music,
memorable songs to sing
You may have done charity
With your glittering glove
Yet you did those things
Without God’s love
You lived in an amusement park
But didn’t call upon Jesus
When things went dark
The media made you a mess
You tried to clear your name
your sins you didn’t confess
Will you tremble
When you see Him face to face,
You won’t moon walk into Heaven
If you didn’t trust in His grace
Mr. Jackson,
was your heart whole
When you gained the entire world
But lost your own soul?
